Environmental Commitment

  • Lowering Waste

    Wellness Pet cares about providing pet parents with products packaged in a way that ensures optimal freshness, while minimizing carbon footprint wherever possible. That’s why we have a long-standing partnership with TerraCycle, an innovative recycling company that helps to keep our bags out of landfills, and have set an ambitious goal to transition to recyclable bags 2025.

  • Reducing Emissions

    From our manufacturing plant in The Netherlands to our headquarters in Massachusetts, treating the world with care is a key focus. Across the organization, we’re leveraging technology like solar energy and decreasing air travel and commute times to reduce our company’s emissions.

  • Alternative Proteins

    To reduce the portion of our carbon footprint that comes from livestock, we have pledged to reduce the contribution of protein content from animals by 20% by year 2030. We will do this through advanced innovation, collaborations, and nutritional research that put health and vitality at the forefront while decreasing reliance on animal protein.

Social Responsibility

    We are eager to give back to the communities we live in. Every year, Wellies volunteer over 1,500 hours of community service with organizations they are passionate about. We also host virtual company 5Ks that benefit a variety of social causes.
